CeraVe Cleansers: How to choose the right one

CeraVe Cleansers: How to choose the right one

Are you using the best cleanser for your skin type and skin concerns?

If you have oily skin consider a foaming or gel cleanser. This helps to remove excess dirt and oil from your skin allowing the following ingredients in your skincare regimen to actually penetrate through. *Bonus tip- Cleansers that contain niacinamide can help to regulate your oil on a superficial level.

For those with blemish prone skin consider using actives known to target C.Acnes like Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide cleansers.

For those with Dry, sensitive skin consider using a hydrating or creamy cleanser to help gently cleanse the skin without disrupting the skin barrier.

For those with combination skin or balanced “normal” skin type a cream to foam cleanser is a great option. Bonus tip* the CeraVe cream to foam cleanser is amazing for removing makeup/sunscreen but keeping your skin barrier healthy.

  13. I really like riceberry face wash by littlextra! It’s soft but gets the job done at cleansing dirt and impurities from my skin. Its black rice ingredient cleanses my skin without being too harsh, leaving my skin feeling silky, glowing, and smooth. No acne, pimples, or extra oil can be found on my face after cleaning with this face wash. Additionally, I like the fact that it’s made with natural ingredients and is free from harsh chemicals. It has a gentle, natural smell and doesn’t dry out my skin. I wholeheartedly recommend this face cleanser to those seeking a high-quality and safe facewash.

Because I love that product but mmmmman does it stick to your face like glue. I dont want to switch to a more hydrating sunscreen either before anyone chimes in with that lol It took me years to find a sunscreen I like so I’ll be wearing australian gold to the grave. Thanks in advance!

  17. Can I use the SA Cleanser along with Paula’s Choice 2% Exfoliant? Both have Salicylic Acid.

Also, can I use this with the Cerave Resurfacing Retinol? I read somewhere that I should not.
